About me

The short version

Before writing a line of code, I spent years working with people in ways that required real listening — as a foreign language learner, a caregiver, and a professional organizer. Helping someone well means understanding what they actually need — and that instinct still shapes how I build software.

Since 2020 I've been an application developer, building React + TypeScript interfaces that internal teams use every day. I own UI/UX decisions end-to-end, design the C#/.NET Core APIs behind them, and keep releases reliable with CI/CD and a healthy test suite. I also mentor junior developers and review code across the team.

I'm most interested in work where thoughtful engineering meets real human impact — maintainable code, reliable releases, and tools that genuinely save people time. (Also: fluent in French, if your codebase needs it.)

I build and ship React + TypeScript interfaces used daily by internal teams — owning UI/UX end-to-end, component architecture, and server-state management with React Query. I delivered two applications from the ground up: a billing reconciliation tool and an inventory management system, both backed by a library of reusable shared components.

On the back end, I design and deploy RESTful APIs in C#/.NET Core powering core business workflows. I implemented CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps that shortened release cycles, write front-end tests with Jest and React Testing Library, and apply secure data-handling practices to meet HIPAA compliance. I've mentored two junior developers and review code across the team.
